A Romantic Seaside Engagement by Candlelight, styled shoot real love

I’m celebrating Valentine’s Day with the sweetest of love shoots from Jenny Sun Photography! I already shared the first part of Stephanie and Wil’s stylish and romantic engagement, and I’m thrilled to feature the rest. These two love birds ended their portrait session with a romantic seaside engagement shoot at twilight, surrounded by glowing lanterns!

After seeing the gorgeous looks these two dreamed up for the dreamy meadow part of their engagement session, it should come as no surprise that they bring the same sense of style to a more casual session! Stephanie created a truly romantic engagement look by pairing a ballerina-inspired tulle skirt with a lace top. A bouquet of baby’s breath and a silk flower pin for her hair made just the right accent to her sweet and simple look. Wil channeled Gilbert Blythe in a blue shirt the color of the evening sky and a pair of suspenders – a perfectly dapper touch to a relaxed engagement look!

This charming pair lit candles in mason jar lanterns as the sun set over the cliffs, turning the sea a deep, glowing blue. They spread blankets on the cliffs and cuddled in a soft knit throw to keep warm as the sky grew darker. The warm glow from their lanterns turned each portrait into work of art!
