I can think of no better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than this utterly charming love shoot from Jenny Sun Photography! Wil and Stephanie celebrated their engagement with an incredibly romantic shoot in the late afternoon sun, surrounded by sweet details that were all DIYed by the bride! Don’t miss Part II – a twilight session on the cliffs surrounded by glowing lanterns!
Bride-to-be Stephanie had an amazing time planning the details for their pre-wedding shoot, from the patchwork picnic blanket to banners of patterned bunting. She worked closely with their incredible photographer, Jenny Sun, to plan the details of their shoot. It gave the couple an amazing chance to get to know their photographer before the big day, building a relationship with Jenny and her team that allowed them to relax and truly enjoy every minute of their portrait session!
The simple picnic blanket and sweet DIY details – a burlap banner decorated with hearts, vintage cameras and books, wooden letters in their initials – created a charming, homey feel to the shoot that perfectly echoes Stephanie and Wil’s comfort in each other’s company. A meadow in the sunshine was all they needed to create an unforgettable moment – although Stephanie’s Reem Acra gown certainly stands out! Her choice of gown, with a delicately twisted bodice and beaded cap sleeves, added a touch of glamour to the simple details. Amy Chan Hair and Makeup Artistry kept Stephanie’s styling easy and natural, a gorgeous complement to the flowing lines of her skirt. A wreath of silk flowers wound with ribbon adorned Stephanie’s intricate braid for a sweetly romantic bridal look!
