Spring may just be my favorite wedding season, and today’s ethereal wedding palettes celebrate that beauty! Whether it’s the perfect combination of delicate pastels, natural earth tones, or chic neutrals, there’s no wrong way to design for spring.
Pastels
Pastels for spring, ground breaking, I know. Even though they’re not exactly innovating for this time of year, there’s something perfect about delicately tinted shades that suits the romance of the season. Lilac gray is on trend for 2016, but paired with peach it creates a luminous palette that’s absolutely timeless. The trifecta of pale purple, blue, and pink manages to avoid My Little Pony territory with barely there hues that recall the shifting shades of an opal gem. The addition of deep forest green to a wedding standby like blush creates a romantic palette for a woodland wedding at the first sign of spring.
Earth Tones
The earth is just waking up during this time of year, so natural, organic tones that echo that slow awakening feel perfectly at home in the spring. Fresh greens and delicate pinks, dusty blue and taupe, and rain-washed shades mimic the ambient hues of the season.
Neutrals
Neutral shades feel less expected for spring, but they carry no less of an impact. Green and ivory add a fresh spin on the elegant addition of champagne. The dramatic contrast of blossoming almond trees provided a gorgeous dose of inspiration with an all-neutral palette of ivory and oak brown. Marbled tones, spring 2016’s must-have, get a dose of romance from soft blush and blooming flowers!
I can’t decide on just one! What a stunning collection! The Lilac Grey & Peach palette is my favorite.
