Summer Sparkle – Peony and Sequin Wedding Ideas

After last week’s take on an elegant neutral summer wedding, I wanted to create a wedding design that captured the vibrancy and fun of summer. Today’s peony and sequin wedding inspiration manages to be fun and utterly glam all at once, with a chic palette of coral and French Blue and lots of sparkle!

Lush florals in bold coral and creamy ivory make a gorgeous statement against a summer lawn or garden. Peonies are always the coveted flower for this time of year – they are perfect for eye-catching centerpieces and bridal bouquets, set against a backdrop of sparkling sequins or bright table linens.

Since the florals and palette have so much to say, render details in delicate strokes – subtle floral print on programs, menus, and table numbers, shimmering tone-on-tone sequins, and clean, elegant place settings. Fun flower details capture the garden aesthetic – a backdrop of ombre carnations manages to be simple and eye-catching at the same time!
