The Carpathian Mountains hold a moody and elemental magic, but for this shoot, Ioana Porav Photography and Destination Wedding Romania wanted to channel bold colors and soft light to create something worthy of a fairy tale! The Cantacuzino Castle offered the most romantic venue for their wedding inspiration shoot, with stunning views of the mountains and luxe surroundings including the stained glass windows that Las Floristas drew on for the color palette! The vibrant flower archway framing Neo-Romanian columns overlooked the mountain vista to bring stunning color and life into the spectacular castle setting!
In keeping with the light and bright theme of the shoot, Invogue Art created the romantic invitations for ‘nothing fancy, just love!’ The woodsy watercolors spoke to the stunning mountain views, and gold wax seals to mimic the luxurious castle setting.
The wedding dress from Innocenti Sposa was made for a princess bride, with illusion sleeves adorned with petals and butterflies!
Drawing inspiration from the spectacular stained glass windows and luxurious architecture of Cantacuzino Castle, Las Floristas pulled together rich plum tones from fall leaves, sunny yellow flowers, and dried grasses. The vibrant colors combined classic fall colors with a burgundy and yellow palette that is perfectly at home with current trends!
The ceremony overlooked the Bucegi Mountains and the Prahova Valley. The terrace displayed the Neo-Romanian architecture style of the castle, creating the perfect frame for Las Floristas gorgeous flower arrangements, combining emerald greenery with golden yellow, delicate pink, and rich plum.
An enchanting ceremony gown combined delicate chiffon pleating, lines of sparkling beads, and delicate lace. Magnolia Atelier added a pearl and crystal headpiece to complete the elegant, vintage bridal vibe.
The couple walked the fairy tale grounds of the castle for these magical portraits!
A reception on the castle terrace combined elegant white and gold elements with more of the breathtaking fall leaf and flower arrangements. Taper candles in vibrant green were arranged in antique gold candleholders to add color and vintage detail!
The couple took time for fun, playing on these oversize swings with a view of the mountains!
Since both bride and groom are dancers, Wedding Tellers Vasile Porav captured their balletic moves in the enchanting ceremony space!
