Today’s retro pastel wedding editorial from Olga Thomas Photography and Events to a T could not be more perfect for a month dedicated to celebrating love! From the delicate shades of pink and peach in the flowers, the adorable cake and dessert cart, and the lace trimmed dress, this shoot was designed to be utterly sweet!
The industrial setting of The Box Milwaukee keeps things from being too sugary, with rough brick walls and a polished wooden floor providing a blank canvas. Soaring floor to ceiling windows let in streaming light to illuminate the sweet details of this shoot, casting the perfect retro glow over each shot. To create a French country chic inspired sweetheart table, The Flower After created a lush garden centerpiece in soft spring hues of peach, pink, and yellow to complement the aqua tones in Relics Vintage Rentals‘ place settings and velvet chairs. The dessert cart by Miss Cupcake nearly steals the show with a selection of petite treats including a polka dot cake!
The bridal style takes a delightfully retro twist with a short wedding dress with cap sleeves in delicate Chantilly lace. A birdcage veil, soft waves, and bold red lips cap off a perfectly chic bridal look! A polka dotted bow tie and red suspenders give the groom’s look a similarly retro spin, in gorgeous keeping with the romantic styling of the shoot.
