Southern Charm Summer Wedding in Peach and Blue

This stunning Southern charm wedding shoot is the perfect way to bid summer farewell! It’s hard to believe autumn is almost here, but with the golden light, breezy styling, and fresh pies in this Georgia peach shoot, it gets to stick around a little longer! Debbie Neff Photography captured this dreamy summer afternoon beneath the oak trees, with pecan pies, shades of blue, and the sweetest crop top wedding dress!

The shoot sought to capture the dreamy romance of a Southern afternoon. To add a modern twist to the timeless grace of the locale, they chose a two piece wedding dress by Chantel Lauren for the bride. The lace crop top and flowing tulle skirt in a dusty blue gave a twenty-first century sensibility to the vintage styling that encapsulated Georgia in the summer. The groom’s crisp navy windowpane check suit added a bold counterpoint while remaining utterly classic.

The lush green of a Southern summer set the tone for a palette of rich blue and soft peach, with plenty of rustic elements. A grand farm table set with a greenery runner and surrounded by plush quilted chairs welcomed guests to take their seat beneath the spreading oak trees. Fresh peaches served as escort cards on vintage blue china plates, with hand lettered tags adding a personal touch to the local fruit. Cobalt glassware and taper candles complemented the thick runner of foraged greenery that dominated the center of the table.

A vintage wagon served as the perfect dessert display, with an array of pies from  Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop and Mae’s Bakery. Pecan, apple, and Georgia peach added the perfect array of Southern flavors to suit the setting, with antique silver serve ware alongside hand lettered acrylic signs from Kaci Bowman to balance old and new. The gorgeous juxtaposition of on-trend details with timeless style perfectly encapsulates the shoot as a whole.
