Prepare yourself for the ultimate in SoCal chic with today’s modern ranch wedding shoot! This amazing collaboration between Jodi and Kurt Photography and Karson Butler Events captures the golden light and effortless style of California wine country. The stunning botanical florals and perfectly on-trend crop top wedding dress are the best way to start the day!
Biddle Ranch Vineyard in San Luis Obispo, the heart of Southern California’s wine country, served as the gorgeous inspiration for the blend of mid century modern meets rustic vintage style for the shoot. The rustic industrial outdoor fireplace at the ranch house set the scene for a stylish ceremony, with an enormous greenery wreath hanging above the mantel. A cowhide runner and vintage wooden pews created the perfect look for a wild outdoor vow exchange.
After the ceremony, an enormous industrial farm table awaited on the terrace, given the perfect rustic touch by a long runner of fresh foraged greenery. Raffia wrapped bottles and organic place settings lent luxurious texture to the table, while overflowing centerpieces of peonies and protea blooms from Noonan’s Wine Country Designs added a hint of romance.
As stunning as the surroundings might be, the true showstopper of the shoot had to be the gorgeous bridal styling! A sleek crop top two piece wedding dress from Pas De Deux Bridal served some perfectly on trend bridal inspiration with a tea length lace skirt and a chic ballerina bun. The blush ruffled halter dress with an open back called to mind effortless Southern California style, accented by a romantic low chignon from The Queens’ Bees.
