Rose Gold and Peony – Modern Metallic Wedding Shoot

Something truly lovely happens when modern styling meets vintage details, especially when the romantic tones of peony and rose gold are thrown in! This lovely modern metallic shoot from Ashley Ludaescher Photography and Love Circus at Soho House Berlin blends bold colors and architectural details with sweet vintage romance!

I love the fun addition of string art incorporated throughout the shoot, from the table runner in bold turquoise thread to the simple, graphic invitation suite by Paper & Soul. It’s such a lovely representation of the many design schemes that are woven throughout the shoot, taking seemingly disconnected elements and making them feel seamlessly united. The sumptuous wood panelling and industrial textures of the venue created that study in contrasts, that was picked up, thread by thread, throughout the design concept.

A crisp, architectural wedding dress by Kisui was paired with soft, vintage Hollywood inspired curls and a bold pink lip from Lena Schleweis to give the bride a style reflective of that meeting of old and new. Botanic Art combined beautifully blooming peonies in fuchsia and blush with bowls of hammered copper to blend hard and soft, while cut crystal glasses, rose gold flatware, and table numbers in coiled wire continued the mix of decades into the decor. Even the cake table and bar decor represented two very disparate ideas tied elegantly together, blending a toasted marshmallow layer cake from Fräulein Wild with vintage champagne coupes!
