An excellent rule of thumb, when it comes to picking the right wedding venue, is always to go with the place that has its own chandeliers. Molly and Jim were well aware of that cardinal rule when it came to planning their industrial glam wedding in Minneapolis, and Aria was the perfect fit. They dressed the soaring exposed brick walls with strands of hanging bistro lights and added warmth with romantic pink florals from the bride’s hands as Petals and Sprigs and Twigs! The venue is the perfect blend of old-world charm and modern styling, making a fun and romantic spot for their wedding! The gorgeous photos from Erin Johnson Photography are a perfect example of what event lighting – and fabulous taste – can do for your wedding!
Molly and Jim opted for classical style when it came to their wedding day attire – and Jim proved that real men wear pink – to glamorous effect. Molly’s strapless A-line gown was perfectly set off by the silk flower in her relaxed and romantic updo, not to mention her multi-strand pearl necklace! Jeweled spray earrings echoed the brooch clasp on her necklace and stunning twin diamonds in her engagement ring. She and her bridesmaids wrapped up to brave the Minneapolis winter for portraits in the neighborhood surrounding Aria, with cozy sweaters and scarves over their dresses!
The ceremony took place in the central hall, with cavernous ceilings hung with bistro lights, and a backdrop of cascading lights. After the vows, guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the venue’s galleries while the hall was transformed into a glam reception space. Silver candelabras added to the glow cast by the hanging lights, while the venue’s pop art light installation gleamed overhead.

I sure think so!
Beautiful wedding! The photographer did a nice job.
Love this venue – and the palette is perfect!
So much pretty in this post!
I’m normally not a huge chandelier fan, but that’s seriously the way to do it! Gorgeous venue!
That has to be one of the few things we differ on – I love chandeliers!
How awesome that we featured the same venue and photographer on the same day. And this wedding is gorgeous. I love that they’re both different as well!
I love how much of each couple’s personality you can see in each wedding – it’s such a great example of how to personalize your wedding day style!
Wow! I LOVE this wedding! Every detail is perfect. The dress and chandeliers are amazing.
This wedding is gorgeous! I love the black, white and pink color palette and the dotted socks! Your advice is fantastic – yes to chandeliers, always!
I firmly believe that the best things in life are BYOC – bring your own chandelier
That venue space is amazing!
