Modern Greenery Decor for an Organic Wedding

The organic elegance of this sweet shoot’s styling added a modern twist to the Craftsman and Tudor architecture of the turn of the century Willowdale Estate. The romance of greenery and an all natural color palette softened up the rich stone and wood surroundings to give the historic venue a fresh feel. Apotheca used an abundance of white and neutral flowers to accent emerald green leaves in both the bride’s bouquet and the showstopping floral runner and interior installation. Clematis and love-in-a-mist added a unique touch along with more traditional wedding flowers like roses, ranunculus, and tulips. The whimsical floral style perfectly suited the bride’s chic fit to flare dress from Blush Bridal & Formal, with the clean crepe gown accessorized with a sparkling belt and romantic updo adorned with greenery.

Rustic textures of wood and stone made their appearance in every aspect of the shoot, from the invitations down to the cake table. Olive Paper Co used white ink lettering on raw wood grain to create a paper suite that hinted at the woodsy charm permeating the entire shoot. The same elegant brush script tied in the rustic leaf escort cards and chic modern menu to create a cohesive paper suite that complemented the lush abundance of the head table. An enormous wooden Kings’ table suited the candlelit hall with clean white walls and rich wooden beams. Slate slabs at each place setting brought in the rough hewn stone of the surroundings, with smokey glassware and crisp white linens to draw the eye to the succulent and floral runner. The natural elements continued into the incredible dessert display, with air plant topped cakes and sweets crafted to resemble flowers and nuts!
