Bold modern color combines with timeless bridal style in today’s wedding inspiration at glamorous Langdon Hall! Whitney Heard Photography and Cynthia Martyn Fine Events created this vibrant styled shoot to celebrate vivid colors and sweetly preppy styling at one of Canada’s most elegant wedding venues. The gorgeous coral and citrus palette and charming picnic details make this one feel like summer has come early!
Modern Color and Preppy Style for a Picnic Wedding
When it comes to creating a gorgeous atmosphere to welcome and inspire guests, I can think of nothing more charming than this stunning picnic inspired wedding! To create a whimsical ceremony, Cynthia Martyn spread patterned blankets throughout the orchard of country house, Langdon Hall. The leafy trees created a beautiful canopy of summer greenery as a natural backdrop, with a watercolor painting that tied in the signature color palette to the scene. A dreamy off the shoulder wedding dress by Catherine Langlois set the tone for elegant romance paired with vintage glamour that perfectly suited the graceful manor setting. For the bridesmaids, stylist Cynthia opted for a chic mismatched bridal party by pairing a neutral halter neck maxi dress and preppy patterned a-line. The gorgeous gowns were complemented by bold coral, pink, orange, and yellow blooms from Living Fresh Flower Studio. The bride’s bouquet of peony, ranunculus, summer roses, and sweet garden flowers tied in with the pops of modern color in the ceremony artwork.
A farm table set with French inspired place settings and citrus-hued centerpieces afforded a rustic yet formal way to celebrate following the picnic inspired ceremony. Touches of gold from the flatware added a glamorous element to the barn wood and exuberant floral centerpieces. To satisfy the palate, flower garnished cocktails and a petite tiered cake adorned with vines of sugar roses created a sweet feast with thematic floral elements!
