Lush greenery meets bold metallics in this modern botanical wedding from onelove photography! Angela and Clayton’s intimate wedding at Marvimon took inspiration from vintage botanical prints for a uniquely memorable – and absolutely stunning – soiree!
The unique architecture of their venue helped designer Carissa of JL Designs & Events bring Angela and Clayton’s vision of an indoor garden to life. The exposed brick walls and raw beams of the reception space were draped with garlands of emerald greenery, accented by vintage mirrors and signage calligraphed by Tessa Shane. Hints of rich amber and bronze from antique apothecary bottles and flashing sequins warmed up the abundant greenery, which helped bring the outdoors in. From the living wall of palms and air plants providing the backdrop to their ceremony to Angela’s bouquet of delicate ferns and hellebore blossoms, rich green and white tones shone against the walls of red brick.
After their heartfelt and handwritten ceremony in the courtyard, Angela and Clayton joined their guests for a family style dinner, with everyone seated together at long tables. The bride’s mother made sage green runners to accent the rich wood, set with green and white woodland centerpieces recalling the vintage prints that inspired their decor. Emerald sequins adorned a dessert table laden with autumnal delicacies from famed LA baker, Sweet And Saucy Shop – a perfect complement to the fresh, local dinner from Eco Caters!
