Sarah and Tom balanced traditional with industrial for their Cleveland wedding day, pairing timeless bridal style, organic flowers, and a dramatic midnight blue color scheme with a renovated warehouse venue to create something fresh and totally indicative of their style! Fine art photographer Jenny Haas made sure every moment shone on their wedding day, with Kirkbrides Wedding Planning & Design ensuring every detail was picture perfect!
Bridesmaids got ready in Sarah’s gift of monogrammed robes in the signature midnight blue color of their wedding!
Beauty Therapy absolutely slayed Sarah’s bridal makeup with a deep smokey eye to offset her subtly glowing cheeks and rose lips. Vision Hair Design crafted her romantic updo with sideswept bangs, which Sarah offset with the sparkle of Twigs & Honey hair combs.
Sarah looked radiant in a lace and organza wedding dress by Caroline Castigliano. The classic a-line silhouette looked timeless, while the textural guipure lace and deep back of the bodice gave her gown a fresh twist!
I’m completely in love with the color scheme Sarah picked for her bridal party, pairing Hailey Paige Occasions dresses in deep blue chiffon with bouquets of blush and ivory flowers. Viburnum berries and dark hearted anemones added a dramatic blue touch to the bouquets, along with ribbon from Honey Silks & Co.
Tom kept the look sharp and classic for his groomsmen, while adding a unique touch to his groom’s attire with a midnight blue suit!
Their ceremony took place at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Cleveland.
The newlyweds share an elated moment leaving the chapel together as husband and wife.
Jenny Haas made sure this dreamy couple caught their perfect light – how enchanting are their portraits together!
The couple chose their Cleveland venue, Lake Affect Studios, because the warehouse offered a counterpoint to their traditional ceremony venue and offered a blank canvas to let them design their ideal vision. Greenery and strings of bistro lights added color and warmth to the industrial space.
Gray tablecloths kept the reception tables classic and neutral, and their design team added the signature midnight blue color in table runners and deep blue glassware. Greenery patterned table numbers and seating cards kept the table decor organic, complemented by centerpieces of white roses, ranunculus, lisianthus, and sweet peas with silver dollar eucalyptus.
Sarah and Tom treated their guests to a stunning white wedding cake from Luna Bakery & Ca fe, with clean buttercream layers adorned with ranunculus and blush roses, They splurged on an ice cream bar so guests could enjoy one of their favorite treats!
