Industrial Glam Engagement Session from Robert J Hill Photography

I rarely feature engagement shoots so there’s the first hint that today’s feature is something special! The second hint is that today’s feature came to me from Robert J Hill Photography! Kaelyn and Chris are getting married in New Orleans in May, and I think it’s safe to say that their engagement portraits will be a pretty good indication of their upcoming wedding. Since it’s Friday and these two look swell, I’m wrapping up the week by making predictions for their big day!

I’m definitely looking forward to seeing some more vintage style on their wedding day, since they carry off these looks so well! How dapper is Chris in that hat – not to mention his bowtie? As charming as their 50’s inspired looks are, I adore the way this couple looks when they get a little glammed up! Kaelyn’s stunning gown is the perfect mix of flowy and sparkly – I sincerely hope this is a preview for her wedding dress, because she looks phenomenal. One of the most enchanting thing about this engagement session is their clear sense of adventure and fun. How else do you explain a pair that gets dolled up to stroll about the industrial part of town? These two are clearly having a fantastic time, with an equally fantastic photographer along to capture it. My favorite part of the shoot – and the number one thing I want to see recreated on their wedding? How in love they look! I have no doubt that there will be more utterly romantic portraits when their wedding comes around in May!
