In case you couldn’t tell that I’m excited for the fall wedding season to begin, today’s harvest gold inspiration definitely gives it away. There’s something especially enchanting about an autumn wedding with spiced air and the glow of candle flames against the early night. I wanted to try to capture that warmth, leading to a rich palette of harvest gold, deep sunny yellow, and cinnamon brown. Foraged foliage in brilliant colors adds gorgeous volume to arrangements and bouquets, along with seasonal blooms in sunny hues, like dahlias, chrysanthemums, tulips, and seedpods for texture.

Clean lines and natural textures will give bridal party attire a chic, Ralph Lauren feel – think crisp shift dresses, tweed vests, and leather and brass accessories. Keeping textiles clean and neutral allows for fun to be had when it comes to voluminous arrangements – foliage, autumn berries, and lots of greenery make for a large impact overflowing from brass vessels, or woven into loose garlands. Vintage pieces in rich wood, amber glass, and pillar candles all add to the upscale country styling that makes this board an autumn classic.
