Ethereal Beach Wedding After The Storm from Captured by Belinda

Every culture has different beliefs about rain on your wedding day (no, it’s not ironic, Alanis) and after taking a look at this ethereal beach wedding, it’s not hard to agree with the Irish that rain symbolizes a blessing! Nadine and Grant, a couple from England, chose to hold an intimate wedding in Palm Coast, Florida. Twenty of their closest family and friends joined them at a private estate on the shore with plans for a ceremony on the beach right out front, but the weather had other plans.

A storm broke over the beach just before the couple had planned to say their vows, but they didn’t let the last minute setback ruin their day. The small ceremony was relocated to the balcony of their beach house, overlooking the wide expanse of the beach and the misted waves. Nadine positively glowed in her romantic gown of heirloom lace over a sweeping blush skirt. The intricate beading of the sweetheart bodice was gorgeously echoed on her chapel-length veil. She and her bridesmaids carried simple but lush bouquets of ivory hydrangeas and roses, perfect agains the midnight blue bridesmaids’ dresses.

The rain lifted shortly after the ceremony, leaving the beach wreathed in a thick, ethereal mist. The veiled waves created an absolutely stunning backdrop for Nadine and Grant’s portraits. Luckily they had a truly wonderful photographer to make the most of this unexpected change, and Captured By Belinda proved that the rain on their wedding day was truly a blessing with these absolutely stunning photos from their wedding!
