Colorful Nautical Shoot with a Blue Wedding Dress

I love this approach to a nautical wedding, with a gorgeous coastal setting, cheerfully colorful florals, and one stunning blue wedding dress! Sealed With A Kiss Events, Seventh Heaven Vintage, and Audrey Norman Fine Art Photography put together a chicly modern shoot that celebrates vibrant colors combined with rich textures at The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina.

It must be said that the showstopper of this shoot is the powder blue Tara la Tour from Walnut Creek bridal shop, Kinsley James Couture Bridal. The structured silhouetted and gently ruffled layers rendered in a striking shade make for an unusual but unforgettable wedding dress choice. Paired with a bouquet of vibrant coral, orange, and yellow, the look manages to capture coastal chic with a laid-back California edge.

The gorgeous blend of color didn’t stop at the bridal styling – lounge pieces from Seventh Heaven Vintage created striking vignettes in blue and gold velvet, an antique ladder adorned with books and flowers marked the start of the aisle, and a great, wooden Captain’s Table waited on the dock. The cheerful mix of colors in the bride’s bouquet was echoed in the the floral arrangements and the sugar flowers cascading down a tiered cake by Kitty Wong Pastry Shop.
