The amazing botanical opulence in this stunning wedding shoot from Marissa Lambert Photography is the best way to start the week! A luxurious palette of garnet and plum perfectly suited the grandeur of the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans, while vintage decor and a sleek lace sheath dress completed the stunning picture.
The enchantment of jewel toned flowers beautifully suited the grand surroundings at the Opera House. Floral designer Kim Starr Wise created lush arrangements in crimson and plum with hints of barely there lilac and berry pink to adorn the tables and the bride’s beaded column gown. The antique farm table from Distressed Rentals & Revival was softened by a raw silk runner, while wooden chargers and vintage gold decor added to the juxtaposition of natural and luxurious styles. The cake table set with a sweetly ruffled cake and cascading floral garlands made a stunning statement beneath the vaulted ceilings of the venue.
A shimmering white sheath dress by Theia Couture added the perfect amount of modern sparkle to offset the old world drama of the surroundings. The elegant beaded column cascaded from a plunging open back, showcasing the bride’s stunning sideswept updo created by New Orleans hairstylist Hair By Ginger. Her luminous natural makeup and abundant bouquet of jewel toned flowers created an unforgettable blend of modern glam bridal style with vintage elegance.
