Their Leap Day wedding at Dallas-area venue, The Laurel, started out with gorgeous white ink invitations on cream, mauve, and dusty blue. They added pops of their signature burgundy color to their gorgeous detail flatlays with romantic hellebore blossoms. Along with garnet dahlias, jewel toned chrysanthemums, and deep blue privet berries, the star-shaped flowers added rich color to the bride’s stunning bouquet!
Bride Michelle found her dream wedding dress at Dallas boutique, A&BÉ Bridal Shop. The v-neckline and form-fitted silhouette were paired with a dreamy floral lace pattern that extended into a gorgeous, long train. Her bridal hair stylist and makeup artist Meagan Starr Beauty and Styling showed off the low back wedding dress with a romantic low bun at the nape of her neck, with soft tendrils to frame her face and show off the gorgeous crystal chandelier earrings!
The bride let her attendants choose floor length chiffon dresses from a romantic berry color scheme, ranging from blush to mauve to deep burgundy. The coordinated color palette and similar silhouette was a gorgeous way to pull off mismatched bridesmaid dresses with style!
The couple were married on Leap Day, choosing Dallas-area wedding venue The Laurel for their ceremony and reception. They held a First Look on the grounds near Cottonwood Creek, allowing them to spend some intimate time together and capture some amazing portraits before the ceremony!
The airy white and wood chapel on the venue grounds was the perfect place for their wedding ceremony. They held a private ceremony for their close family and friends in the chapel overlooking an evergreen grove, before the rest of their guests joined for the reception!
Magic hour comes early in the winter but Jessica Gold Photography stole some time with the newlyweds to capture these golden portraits just before sunset!
The couple added a personalized detail to their acrylic seating chart with a custom neon sign of their new shared last name! They held a cozy reception dinner in the Great Hall, tying in the dark custom trusses in the soaring ceiling with mahogany chivari chairs and pops of deep color from their burgundy and blue table decor.
The dusty blue velvet tablecloths added a luxurious romantic look to the long dining tables. Arrangements of cream and berry red centerpieces ran down the length of the table, with hand-lettered silk ribbon place cards at each table setting. They decorated their dining tables with greenery, gold mercury glass votive holders, and clusters of pillar candles to create a warm glow.
Arlington, TX, baker Sugar Bee Sweets created not only the colorful ruffled wedding cake – with ombre layers of chocolate shards that created an airy design – but the football themed groom’s cake as well!
The couple ended the night with a gorgeous sparkler exit on their way to their getaway car!
