  • […] There is something about doing a styled shoot and getting to work with so many talented wedding vendors that is fun and exciting. It really gives you an appreciation for the industry and the depth of creativity that so many different vendors bring to the table. For this collaboration, a photography workshop organized by Lilac and Lemon Photography, we got to use one of our favorite color palettes, burgundy and blush. The floral vision for the shoot included big, lush blooms, wild, organic lines and rich textures set against the rustic and cozy background of Iriswoods, located near Nashville, Tennessee. Bouquets and arrangements featured dark crimson peonies, burgundy dahlias, scabiosa pods, cotinus, ivory and blush O’Hara garden roses, eucalyptus, astilbe, spray roses, kangaroo paw, and burgundy ranunculus. We love how the rustic touches like the raw wooden sweet heart table, old wooden doors and fall landscape mix beautifully with sumptuous details such as the rich gold table accents, velvet vintage couch and luxurious silk ribbon and chiffon runners. A special thank you goes to Mandy Liz Photography for these beautiful pictures. You can see more about this shoot in a feature on Hey Wedding Lady here. […]ReplyCancel
