Southern Bridal Style with Industrial Charm

Southern bridal style meets modern industrial detailing in this gorgeous shoot from Trisha Kay Photography and Shannon Rose Events shot for Brides of North Texas Magazine! It’s as quintessentially Southern as sweet tea and biscuits with gravy, which happen to make an appearance in the form of a charming food and drink station. A geometric print dress, concrete vessels, and clear acrylic details paired with lush flowers, soft drapery, and classic glam bridal styling made for a gorgeous fusion of old world meets new!

The whitewashed brick surroundings of Fort Worth’s BRIK Venue had the perfect amount of industrial charm to set the scene for this gorgeous wedding inspiration. Designer Shannon Rose Events played up the warehouse setting by incorporating unfinished and modern elements into the shoot wherever possible – lush summer roses in a concrete planter and calligraphy signs on clear acrylic created a gorgeous juxtaposition between sweet and rough. The lucite head table and clear dining chairs were paired with a vintage velvet settee and draped in a soft runner of summer blue. Pottery chargers and plates added gorgeous texture to the clean tablescape, with hand lettered acrylic escort cards at each chair. A custom made wax seal added a charming personal finishing touch to each keepsake place card!

Finding the perfect mix of modern glam and Southern bridal style was easy when it came from De Ma Fille  – the geometric organza layers and sheer beaded illusion back of the Hayley Paige Behati gown combined a classic silhouette with unexpected details. Hair and makeup artist Grand Slam Glam kept things elegant when it came to the bride’s beautiful look, pairing a low chignon with dramatic eyes and blushing lips.
