Navy Nautical Wedding at the Seattle Aquarium

Get ready to start your week with a hell of a lot of gorgeous! Allison and Justin’s nautical wedding was infused with the stunning modern style of their venue, the Seattle Aquarium! Little decor was needed for their waterfront ceremony, with Allison’s smile nearly eclipsing the sun on the water. The aquarium and surrounding docks made a striking location for portraits, with the Seattle Great Ferris Wheel and passing ferries in the background. Crozier Photography made incredible use of the striking photo locations afforded by the aquarium, letting Allison and Justin’s classic style shine!

Inside, guests were treated to a backdrop of one of the aquarium’s many tanks, with chic and simple navy and white decor adding to their nautical theme. The aquarium doesn’t allow any sea life to be used as decor to further their message of conservation  so the only shells, sea stars, and fish at the wedding floated behind glass. Feeding time at the aquarium was part of the day’s program, with guests gathering to watch the fish have dinner before they enjoyed their own. Many were surprised to find seafood on the menu, but the aquarium encourages good fishing practices and only offers menu options off of the Seafood Watch Best Choices list!
