It isn’t uncommon to plan a fine art fairy tale wedding these days, but finding one as beautifully and creatively executed as this Sleeping Beauty inspired shoot is a rarity! Memoires En Or and Juniper Event Co. teamed up to bring the Perrault story of Briar Rose to life in this stunning wedding editorial incorporating soft rose hues, organic fabrics, and a minimalist details. Bushels of roses provide a dreamy and elegant backdrop to this intimate wedding shoot at The Great Hall in Toronto!
This shoot is all about the beauty of subtlety, starting with this minimalist and organic invitation suite created by Statue Rue House of Design! The neutral color palette and organic textures offer a tantalizing glimpse of what is to come…
What could better fit the Sleeping Beauty narrative than an intimate bridal session? The vintage settee from Tufts & Toile became a fairy tale bower with romantic added greenery and flowers by Rosehill Blooms.
The gown by Catherine Langlois was truly fit for a princess bride. The team drew inspiration from the soft champagne hue and dreamy floral detailing on the blush and nude tulle and organza. The sheer sleeves added a perfect, ethereal touch! Rosehill Blooms kept to the original fairy tale by incorporating roses into all of the flower arrangements. The bride carried a bouquet of ivory, mocha, and nude flowers to create a sophisticated color palette that accented the tones of her gown.
A twining hair vine from Elsa Rose Boutique created a lovely finishing touch to the bride’s hairstyle, while adding another nod to the Sleeping Beauty story!
This flower archway is the most stunning ceremony accent! The asymmetrical floral accents added to the fairy tale mystique of the shoot, evoking the castle overgrown with briars from the story. Scattered candles at the base of the towering flowers added to the romance and whimsy of the shoot.
They kept the tablescape minimal and organic, with ceramic and stone decor wherever possible.
Dried roses and a hand painted design made Love in Bloom Cakes‘ creation into a work of art! The rich colors of the burgundy and gold cake added a royal touch!
What fairy tale story would be complete without a twist! Using a vintage spinning wheel, they brought to life the Perrault story of Briar Rose to gorgeous effect!
