Dreamy Pastel Barn Wedding in the Fall

“I think I’ll hold onto you forever.” “That sounds good to me.” Those words in a crowded bar kicked off Justin and Autumn’s romance, leading to their dreamy pastel barn wedding last fall in their hometown of Sevierville, TN! They found each other through a chance encounter with mutual friends and the spark was instant. Their hometown wedding celebrated their closest friends and relatives with fairy tale flowers in a white barn venue! With a whirlwind engagement to wedding timeframe, they raved about Jessica Lee Photographic Art, their planner Devynn Crawford at The River Place, and LB Floral for creating a magical celebration in a short timeframe!

Dreamy Pastel Flatlay for Wedding Invitations

Everything about their wedding was romantic from the start! The dreamy pastel shades in their watercolor floral invitations from Heather Lynette Calligraphy made for the most elegant flatlay along with blush rose petals and powder blue silk ribbons!

Flowers were a huge priority for Autumn and Justin’s dreamy pastel barn wedding, and one of the ways LB Floral made their decor extra special was this getting ready vignette for the bride! Surrounding a vintage settee in greenery, flowers, and vintage candleholders created a fairy-tale setting for her first photos in her wedding dress!

Autumn and Justin had a short engagement, so a ready to wear wedding dress was a must! She visited Loveliest Bridal in Knoxville and fell in love with this fitted lace cap sleeve dress! The romantic silhouette was a perfect fit for her long cathedral veil and pastel lavender and blush bouquet with lots of fresh eucalyptus!

Autumn honored her mother with a bouquet charm that kept her near and dear to her heart as she walked down the aisle.

The couple shared a ‘First Touch’ before their ceremony, exchanging personal letters that they read around the corner from each other. Although they kept their first look a surprise, they were able to share a special moment of closeness without seeing each other!

Justin went for a unique and personal groom’s look with a light gray suit with a navy vest and bow tie that gave him a chance to bring his own style to their wedding day attire!

Vintage Mantel Ceremony Backdrop with Hanging Greenery Lanterns

The couple knew they wanted their wedding to reflect their love of their hometown and bring guests together in the place that they shared a history.
They chose The River Place for their venue, with an outdoor tented ceremony accented with dreamy pastel flowers, a vintage mantel ceremony backdrop, and hanging chandeliers wrapped in greenery. Their goals were ‘classy but comfortable’, creating a welcoming and cozy environment for their intimate wedding. They chose not to have a formal bridal party, but Autumn instead invited the women in her life to come in and share a moment while she got ready for the wedding, creating a special and unique memory with each one!

Jessica Lee Photographic Art captured pure magic with their fall Tennessee wedding photos – the stunning light added to the ethereal and dreamy quality of this stunning wedding day!

Dreamy Pastel Barn Wedding Reception

Blush, Gold, and Greenery Dreamy Pastel Barn Wedding

Inside the barn event venue, two oversized banquet tables created a cozy reception environment. LB Floral made the most of the long dining tables with greenery and candles down the center of the blush pink tablecloths, punctuated by tall arrangements of pink roses and eucalyptus. The result was welcoming and allowed guests to chat across the beautifully dressed tables!

Rustic Hexagon Wedding Arch for the Reception Table

Their showpiece was the Sweetheart Table for the bride and groom! The cozy dining table for two was surrounded by a rustic wood hexagon archway and covered in vines and rambling roses for the most romantic garden effect!

Dreamy Pastel Barn Wedding with a Vintage Dessert Display

In addition to their white and gold leaf wedding cake from Wildflour Bakehouse, the couple transformed a vintage dresser into a dessert display! Glass bell jars with hand lettered signs showcased the brownies, cookies, and bars that they shared with guests! Outside, cozy cocktail table groupings on the barn porch were dressed with mauve velvet tablecloths and glamorous gold art deco chairs to create areas to mingle and celebrate!
