Colorful COVID Wedding at Home

The pandemic may have forced Jasmine and Michael to put their destination wedding plans in Tuscany on hold, but their intimate and romantic COVID wedding at home was as special as it could be with a backyard ceremony and 6 guests! Simply Sweet Photography and Lux Affairs gave them a picture-perfect micro wedding to remember, filled with colorful details to match the bride’s stunning floral dress and Italian touches to bring Tuscany to them!

Since they had to reconfigure their plans and hold their 6-person wedding at home, they let the backyard of the private estate guide their style! Jasmine’s dress was embellished with silk flowers and embroidered vines to create a princess dress for a garden wedding! Their florist, Botany & Bloom, kept the garden flowers lush, romantic, and soft to complement the pink and peach tones of the colored wedding dress and their Italian-inspired decor.

Family and friends from around the world Skyped in to their virtual wedding ceremony, while the couple, their officiant, and four guests kept social distance for the intimate backyard celebration. A stunning pampas grass garland and floral installation created a beautiful firework of dried grass to create a stunning backdrop for their intimate vows!

The couple had the most exquisite portrait session with Simply Sweet Photography around the private estate and in their neighborhood – they captured moments that they would be able to cherish and share with guests who were unable to travel and attend their intimate COVID wedding.

Guests shared their best wishes with them thanks to beautiful posters! The couple posed for portraits with messages from family and friends around the world, making a fun way to include them in their wedding even from a distance.

Botany & Bloom and Winston Events helped the couple turn a reception table for six into a masterpiece! Their planner and design team were inspired by the couple’s original wedding destination, and incorporated Tuscan-inspired colors of dusty rose, peach, salmon, and gold into the rustic country tabletop. An installation overhead allowed them to hand Edison bulbs to light the intimate backyard wedding reception!

The couple cut a fun and colorful wedding cake with fresh summer fruit touched with gold leaf!
