Sometimes I’m unsure which season is my favorite – but then fall rolls in with the hint of a delicious chill in air scented with woodsmoke, and I get to dig out my sweaters and boots and wear fabulous printed tights under my dresses. Not to mention, it’s pumpkin spice season, which is hands down my favorite spice. So I think fall has to win, at least until the twinkle lights start warming up the night and I declare winter my favorite.
Fall weddings certainly hold a special place in my heart, but more than anything, I love finding color combinations that are picture perfect for this crisp, romantic time of year, but manage to be unexpected. It barely feels like fall in California at this point, but already I’m dreaming of candlelight glowing on every front porch and whiskey in my pumpkin tea. With those on my mind, I dreamed up this pairing in bronze and plum – warm, rich colors that can easily alternate between a rustic event or a glamorous shindig, all the while radiating the glow of the season.

Love these two rich colors together! Nice job!
