Getting creative with these colorful locally sourced wedding ideas from Kelsi Kliethermes Photography at The Authenticity Workshop! The artistic inspiration in a Missouri quarry celebrated fall foliage, local businesses, and unique event inspiration. The couple showcased a creative paintbrush seating chart and painted canvas guestbook, all decked out in the most vibrant autumn colors of gold, orange, amber, and yellow!
A colorful locally sourced wedding
Morgan Riley Design used orange and coral to create this lovely brush lettered invitation suite – a fun nod to the paintbrush details that were in store to inspire guests!
The natural autumn colors of Nephew and Co.‘s bohemian fall bouquet included amber, orange, and yellow flowers and dried grasses tied with a gold velvet ribbon – the organic elements added rustic texture to shine against the bride’s simple long sleeve wedding dress!
The accessories added a fun detail, with kicky coral leather heeled boots and handcrafted hammered gold earrings!
The groom’s black on black suit, tie, and velvet loafers had a pop of autumn color from the foliage and dried grass boutonniere!
Ready for the most naturally stunning wedding venue? The quarry setting offered a dramatic backdrop for the ceremony with cane back chairs and organic flower arrangements that drew colors from the fall landscape to feel organic to the space.
These stunning free-standing ceremony flower arrangements by Nephew and Co. looked as though they could have grown naturally, filled with rust-red flowers, preserved ferns, cappuccino roses, and pampas grass.
The reception tables were adorned with a dried flower and preserved grass runner, adding color and texture to the white tablecloths. The hammered copper chargers tied in beautifully with the orange accents, from taper candles to gourds, to fresh fruit on the place settings!
Pretty Little Things styled this cozy bohemian wedding reception lounge with antique rugs and mid century chairs to tie in the October colors!
Time to get artistic! This stunning colorblocked backdrop created an amazing escort card display, with paint brushes personalized with each guests’ name – they not only made for a unique seating chart, but tied in with the creative guest book!
Creative and Locally Sourced Wedding Decor Ideas
Guests were invited to add their own artistic touch to a painted canvas backdrop, creating a unique guestbook idea and a stunning wall decoration for the couple to cherish in their home together!
Instead of wedding cake, the couple opted for locally sourced ice cream to add fresh and local flavors to their wedding day! The wedding cake alternative was a great nod to non-traditional event options and a way to personalize the reception while supporting small businesses at the same time!
The grand finale? A colorful smoke bomb exit to cap off a wedding day filled with creative and artistic inspiration!
