This chic chateau wedding shoot at Graydon Hall is the closest thing to a modern fairy tale wedding that I’ve seen, with effortlessly romantic style and a hint of princess glam. Rainbow Chan Weddings and Events and Whitney Heard Photography teamed up with some incredible Toronto event professionals to bring this storybook romance to life!

Every sweet detail of this shoot added up to the image of quiet luxury, starting with the sumptuous portraits of the bride getting ready for her wedding day. A dreamy robe from the The Lace Atelier accented by an ethereal veil created a romantic bridal boudoir to begin the day in style. Once that breathless moment before the vows was captured on film, the beautiful bride dressed in her illusion lace Ines Di Santo wedding dress, accenting the daringly sheer bodice and long lace sleeves with a tiered ball gown skirt fit for a princess. A delicate Juliet veil and subtle gold headpiece from Blair Nadeau added a charming accent to the look without going over the top. Nothing could have suited the bride’s vintage-meets-modern glamour better than the groom’s classic tuxedo and black tie!

The breathtaking beauty of Graydon Hall leant itself to a simple yet elegant wedding ceremony showcasing historic beauty of the house. The fresh white walls and gilded chandeliers created a timeless atmosphere for the vow exchange that allowed the bride and groom to shine in their wedding day best. An outdoor reception on the terrace added a dramatic element with the fairy tale facade of the manor as a backdrop. Relevé Blooms created a spring bounty with flower arrangements in blush, ivory, and lavender to suit the country charm of the reception style. Vintage hold candleholders and cut crystal stemware added a touch of elegance to the organic floral design. Cake artist Nadia & Co was inspired by the lush blooms to create a sugar garden of a cake in blush and mauve!
