I’m spending the week in Asheville to finally meet the ladies behind some of my favorite blogs and get to know some of the incredible wedding professionals in North Carolina. Since Sarah Addison Allen was born and raised in Asheville and sets most of her ‘Southern Fried Magical Realism’ novels in the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains, I thought this trip would be the perfect opportunity to share the Southern wedding boards inspired by her books!

  • The Bride Link | Haley - March 26, 2015 - 5:52 am

What a perfect round-up for your adventures in Asheville! It was so wonderful to spend the day with you! Can’t wait until next time!ReplyCancel

  • Stephanie Elizabeth {Fab You Bliss} - March 24, 2015 - 6:05 pm

These are all stunning. And I love that you based them off of an author’s stories. I’ve been reading a lot of Karen Russell’s magical realism stories, now I’m going to have to pick up Sarah Addison Allen’s. Hope you’re enjoying your trip!ReplyCancel

    • Ariana - Hey Wedding Lady - March 24, 2015 - 8:56 pm

    • Ariana - Hey Wedding Lady - March 24, 2015 - 7:42 am

That’s still my favorite book – so glad you love the boards! I’ll admit, I’m a stranger to the South other than through books, so I’m relieved to hear that I captured it!ReplyCancel

There’s only one thing as wonderful as actually waking up in Italy this morning, and that’s this gorgeous Tuscan bridal shoot from Mike Larson Photography and Carol Hannah Bridal!
