Hauntingly Beautiful Vintage Bridal Portraits

There’s nothing ordinary about this hauntingly beautiful bridal session from Jamie Fender, Photographer – from the stunning illusion back Tarik Ediz wedding dress, the bride’s vintage glam beauty, or the unabashed Southern romance of the setting! All right, I know that this duo shot in several locations around Little Rock, but the beautiful synchronicity of the venues they chose created a gorgeous narrative. The lush rose garden, wrought iron gates, stately columns, and peeling paint over exposed brick call to mind a once grand manor house, falling slowly into romantic decline.

Luckily our gorgeous bride is the absolute antithesis of Miss Havisham, with cascading Old Hollywood curls, kept in place with a jeweled clasp and swept to the side to showcase the embellished illusion back of her mermaid gown. The ivory silk is gorgeously offset by a pair of gold cage heels and a ruffled peony bouquet. Gorgeous bride-to-be Shelby looked fresh faced and lovely with vintage glam makeup – delicately smoky eyes and a deep coral lip. Jamie could not have captured her more beautifully, using the environment of each of their venue changes to the best advantage. South On Main set the scene with a sophisticated but romantically distressed environment, with plush vintage furniture and gorgeous natural light playing off of the exposed brick walls. The Main Central Arkansas Library added a classical air with soaring columns and elegantly blooming gardens, while the grounds of Alda’s Magnolia Hill offered a lush summer backdrop along with a vintage claret settee as the perfect cap to this romantic, glamorous bridal session!
