Prepare to be completely enchanted by this woodland wedding shoot filled with the most romantic fall flowers! Tara+Renata and Thuis Studios took advantage of the autumn colors outside Annapolis, Maryland, to create this fairy tale worthy editorial filled with jewel toned floral decor, rustic forest surroundings, and romantic bridal style!

Fall Flowers for a Woodland Wedding Shoot

To take full advantage of the gorgeous autumn colors, Petals by the Shore created fall floral arrangements in burgundy, blush, ivory, and emerald green. The bride’s bouquet and groom’s boutonniere were just hints of what was to come in the stunning ceremony backdrop – a dramatic flower cascade that looked as if it grew out of one of the property’s historic trees. The bride and groom kept things classic with an off the shoulder wedding dress and a shawl collar suit paired with a patterned scarf.

The incredible ceremony flowers were echoed in the reception decor, with a farm table set in the woods. Petals by the Shore incorporated fall flowers, seasonal fruit, and taper candles to create an inspiring table runner overflowing with greenery. They kept the place settings simple, with modern gray napkins and gold painted animal figurines that served as escort card holders for a whimsical touch! The gorgeous dessert table served as the pièce de résistance, with a hanging swing display showing off the rustic cake by Whipped Cakes + Confections!
