Chic Parisian Wedding in a Rustic Barn

French glam meets rustic elegance in today’s stunning Parisian wedding! The ivory, blush, and black palette evokes classic Chanel, while the crystal chandeliers, flower market decor, and luxuriously decorated barn turn a Southern California Ranch into a Francophile’s dream!

Bride Mimi wanted the most elated moment of their wedding day to echo another happy moment in her life – when she described the joy she felt watching the carousel spin on a childhood trip to Paris, husband-to-be Alan knew that a vintage merry-go-round would be the perfect place for their first look! Luckily the Chase Palm Park Antique Carousel was just a stone’s throw from their big day at Dos Pueblos Ranch, allowing them to tie two Santa Barbara landmarks into their wedding day! Mimi worked closely with her coordinator and event designer, Joelle of A Charming Occasion, to bring her vision of a Parisian wedding to life. The rugged SoCal terrain reminded the bride of her Texan upbringing, with a grove of trees for their ceremony and a rustic barn for dinner and dancing.

The barn kept its country roots with exposed beams and a tin roof ceiling, but received its own Cinderella transformation with sparkling crystal chandeliers and long tables set with blush linens or glam mirrors. Abundant blooms in blush and ivory evoked a French flower market, while black and white striped linens at cocktail hour added a quintessential Parisian touch. Mimi stunned as a high fashion bride in anAmsale wedding dress with a peplum and dramatic train over a column of French lace. Her bridesmaids channeled Audrey with knee-length dresses in pale lilac, while Alan and his groomsmen wore old-school black tie!
