It just doesn’t get any sweeter than today’s blush and slate blue wedding from Mindy Sue Photography! Lauren and David wanted to keep their wedding close to home, so they chose to be married in the German Village neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio, just steps from their house! The hometown location kept their wedding day relaxed but in no way short on charm. Thoughtful details were art the heart of their day, from the botanical print on their invitations and seating chart, the custom gold monogram, and textile details in blue and white check gingham!
Their day was beautifully simple at its core, but that doesn’t mean they had to sacrifice style! Lauren looked radiant in her floral lace wedding dress, carrying a richly textured white bouquet with dahlias, garden roses, ranunculus, and trailing sweetpeas. Silvery green lamb’s ear and eucalyptus added a hint of greenery and echoed the garlands on their ceremony arbor and down the length of their head table. Bridesmaids in floor length blush gowns and groomsmen in slate blue suits and bow ties perfectly reflected their classical style, gorgeously suited to the old world detailing of their surroundings. The cobblestones and exposed brick of German Village created a gorgeous backdrop to their romantic details. Their reception at High Line Car House combined industrial surroundings with luxe gold detailing – the ornate gold frame that held their blackboard seating chart, the sprigs of lavender and calligraphy escort cards at each place setting, and the lush floral wedding cake table boasting a tiny version of their custom monogram as a cake topper!

Where did they purchase the bridesmaid dresses. I’m in love with the style and color and I’m searching all over the internet for these dresses.
Hi Adriana,
I’m not sure where they purchased these exact dresses, but you can find really similar styles here! There are lots of ways to wrap them, so plan a day with your bridesmaids to test out the styles that look and feel the best – safety pins and double stick tape will be a huge help!
The lace detailing on her dress is to die for!
I totally didn’t mean to 100% copy what Haley said haha It’s SO true though…
I love the details of her gown and his bow tie!
Lauren’s dress is gorgeous! German Village is such a quaint little neighborhood. I can’t think of a better place to get married in Columbus.
Her lace sleeves are to die for!
