Smokey Champagne Bridal Makeup with a Simple Wedding Dress

The details for this shoot were chosen to amp up the glamorous factor for a warehouse wedding, contrasting the industrial brick of SJ Forager with a geometric gold candle wall, and the bride’s simple crepe wedding dress from Selena Huan Bridal. Hair and makeup artist Timeless Artistry contrasted the minimalist dress with a smokey eye and a long veil.

The groom looked perfect for a winter wedding in a black velvet tuxedo with a gold dotted tie to add a little flair! His dried flower and metallic foliage boutonniere added to the stunning spray painted details that gave this shoot its glamorous finish.

The ceremony was held against one of the exposed brick walls at the downtown San Jose, CA, venue. The industrial backdrop was enhanced by Expressions Floral Designs’ arrangements of spray painted grasses, seed pods, and preserved flowers. Metallic paint added gold, silver, and copper to the textured dried grass and winter flower arrangements.

The modern metallic details continued into the reception, with an industrial wooden table covered in a metallic painted garland. Pampas grass, preserved ferns, sola flowers, and dried seedpods added texture along with fresh white roses.

The mixed metallics on the tabletop complemented the gold glass chargers and agate-inspired menu cards, adding a beautiful stationery detail to the place settings.

Industrial copper centerpieces were overflowing with metallic painted grasses and foliage to give the tabletop decor a luxe industrial look. Rita Alexis Design paired the centerpieces with graphic black and white table numbers to add to the modern effect of the design.
