Wandering the wild has never looked quite so good as in this Alaskan wedding shoot from Sara Olivia and A Touch of Saige Events! The breathtaking scenery of the Chugach State Park created a beautiful vista for this intimate elopement inspiration that took the colors of Alaska in the fall and created wedding magic! Snow-capped mountains, fall leaves, and the last of the summer sunshine came together in this beautiful inspiration for adventure lovers dreaming of their wedding day!
Welcome to Alaska! The scenery was just as much a fixture in the portraits as the bride and groom, with that stunning vista of Moose Meadows outside Anchorage as the backdrop. The fall air was crisp and made it so much more important to savor those moments outdoors in the sunshine.
With the scenery providing so much fall color all on its own, Tanya Val kept the bride’s bouquet minimal and neutral. The dried grasses and seedpods looked airy and delicate against the bride’s lace dress from Bateau Bridal Boutique, with cinnamon rose ribbons to add a small dash of color.
Spectacular views of the Turnagain Arm provided the most spectacular backdrop for the intimate coastal ceremony! To offset the chilly glacier bay views and the distant snow-capped mountains, the team created a fiery fall flower arrangement for the ceremony decor. The asymmetric wreaths of flowers, autumn leaves, and pampas grass added fiery color to the stunning Alaskan vista.
The beautiful bride looked ready for the chill of fall in a long sleeve lace wedding dress with a high neckline. The vintage style of her gown added romance to the rugged beauty of the setting, with a 1920’s inspired half-updo by Meraki Studio.
The stunning scenery provided all the decor needed for these amazing Alaskan wedding photos by Sara Olivia!
To capture the intimate feel of an Alaskan elopement, A Touch of Saige Events set the reception table against the backdrop of fall woods and early winter mountains. The slate gray tablecloths from Special Events Alaska added a contrasting note of color to the rich yellow and green colors of the meadow.
Intimate and simple weddings don’t have to sacrifice style and detail, as this team demonstrated so beautifully! The combination of dusty blue tablecloth and colorful peach and coral fall flower arrangements created a beautiful splash of color of the minimalist tabletop!
Driftwood vases and bowls added organic textures to the decor, along with feathery dried grass in the flower arrangements and the last of the fall fruit harvest to keep the season going just a little bit longer.
The couple joined their intimate wedding gathering after an adventure session in the meadows and foothills to capture their unforgettable wedding day portraits! After an unconventional ‘cocktail hour’ in the wilderness, it was time to raise a glass and celebrate!
Cool People Designs created the calligraphy cheese signs to let guests know what delectable treats were offered as part of the hors d’oeuvres!
The dusty blue and gold color combination took inspiration from the colors of nature surrounding them, with the icy blue mountains and sky and the slow burn of the fall foliage adding a splash of natural gold! Grey Meets Gold created the luxurious wedding feast menus with a metallic wax seal to finish off the place settings in style!
The rustic reception combined simple wedding decor, colorful fall flowers, and a stunning leaf and dried grass installation to tie the table into the surrounding landscape!
How beautiful is this headpiece from Bateau Bridal Boutique! Hair and makeup artist Meraki Studio added the gold flower and crystal branch hairpin into the bride’s half-up hairstyle to add a glamorous touch to the natural styling.
Talk about cake table goals! A modern flower arch and the stunning Alaskan mountain backdrop elevated this wine barrel cake table to new heights! The cake by Pumpkin Patch looked perfect for fall with bleached ferns and fresh pairs to add organic texture to the simple white buttercream cake!
