White Peonies and Floral Lace for a Classic New Orleans Wedding

What finer way to start the week than this truly stunning New Orleans wedding? Gabby and David celebrated the start to their marriage with a truly stunning wedding day involving white peonies and romantic floral lace details, all filtered through the stunning lens of Marissa Lambert‘s fine art photography.

This sweet couple’s wedding day was the culmination of months and months of effort by gorgeous bride Gabby. She was an incredibly hands-on bride with every detail that made their wedding special, from the elegant gold laser cut invitations to the romantic all-white floral arrangements by Nola Flora. Gabby herself carried a sweet clutch of ruffled peonies with blushing pink hearts, a delicate complement to her sweet floral lace gown by local designer Yvonne Lafleur. Her bridesmaids picked up their theme of classic elegance with floor-length Donna Morgan gowns in dove gray with bouquets of white rosebuds.

With New Orleans as the setting, it’s only natural for history to come into play when planning the wedding. Their ceremony venue, St. Mary’s Assumption Church, may be a local landmark, but it was the setting for the reception that held a special meaning for the couple. The gorgeous grounds of The New Orleans Board Of Trade provided a gorgeous backdrop for Gabby and David to celebrate their engagement session, and it was no less gorgeous on their wedding day.
