Whimsical Kate Spade Wedding in Black Tie

It isn’t often that a Real Wedding feels like such a uniquely perfect fit for Hey Wedding Lady, but today’s gorgeous Kate Spade wedding style manages it in spades! This stylish couple had a blissful and beautiful wedding day filled with blush and fuchsia flowers, preppy stripes, and lots and lots of love! Jordan Brittley captured each gorgeous moment, from their cathedral ceremony to their first dance lit by a marquee sign.

This wedding is not only a treat for the eyes, but it manages to absolutely nail what I love most about wedding design. Every detail of Alexia and Brett’s told a visual story that manages to be eminently engaging and full of personality. This detail-oriented bride thought of every aspect of her big day as it related to the stunning big picture – from the striped ribbon accenting her bouquet of pink and blush flowers with pops of black and white from the anemones, to the whimsical glamour of her lace mermaid gown, the gold sequins and fresh flowers adorning her ruffled wedding cake, to the enormous marquee sign that made a statement at her reception. Each aspect is gorgeous on its own and together tells a story that manages to be fun and glamorous all at once!
