This gorgeous greenhouse wedding and restaurant reception allowed Allie and Brian to have the best of both worlds for their big day! The enchanting indoor gardens of Seattle’s Volunteer Park Conservatory provided an intimate setting for their ceremony, followed by a city chic reception at the unique event space, The Little London Plane. Maria Lamb captured this heartfelt and handcrafted wedding day filled with watercolor and gemstone details!

Despite Seattle’s reputation as a rainy city, Allie and Brian’s wedding day boasted crystal clear skies. The glass walls of the Volunteer Park Conservatory filled the lush indoor garden with bright light. The natural beauty of the setting inspired Allie, who planned and designed their big day herself. Her choice of dress perfectly suited the fairy tale beauty of their ceremony venue, with a lilac lace gown from Emily Riggs. The lace sleeves and flowing chiffon skirt in palest purple helped pick her palette of lavender and green. Allie created their invitation suite herself, with hand painted botanical floral designs inspired by the elegance of the conservatory.

Deciding on a bouquet for a greenhouse wedding is no easy feat, but Allie worked with the floral collective at The London Plane Flower Shop to find the perfect flowers. Her bouquet of ivory and purple complemented the dreamy lines of her wedding dress, while the delicate botanical flowers stood out like jewels against the lush greenery.

After exchanging their vows in front of just thirty of their closest friends and family, the wedding party headed to downtown Seattle. The floor to ceiling windows of The Little London Plane, an urban event venue, looked out over the cobbled streets of Occidental Plaza. The white brick and blond wood of the loft inspired space added a touch of city chic to the wedding day. As night fell over the city, votive candles set on the family style tables and in niches in the walls cast a glow over the intimate celebration. A table set against the windows held an assortment of buttercream cakes adorned with purple flowers and fresh greenery. Candles set between the cakes and stands of cupcakes flickered against the wall of glass, creating a magical end to a fairy tale wedding day.
