What happens when mid century modern style meets whimsical styling and dried flowers? The Editorial Series answered that buzzing question with this sienna, blush, and black inspiration shoot that Anna Kay Photography captured on film and digital! Austin, Texas wedding planner Westcott Weddings styled this creative wedding editorial with gorgeous fall colors, a dried flower ceremony installation, and yellow and smoky quartz reception decor!
Stationery designer Peach Paper and Design brought the mid century styling inspiration to life with these clean and minimal serif invitations! The gradations in color introduced the beautiful palette for the editorial, in shades of sienna, blush, and peach.
Clementine Floral Works blending dried and fresh flowers with fall leaves and berries to create the bride’s airy bouquet in autumn shades of amber and sienna.
The contrast of dried flowers with the bride’s ruffled chiffon and lace Yaniv Persy wedding dress from Unbridaled created a stunning juxtaposition! The textures stood out beautifully against the white brick walls at one eleven east, a historic loft space near Austin.
The groom’s Black Tux was as classic as it gets, with pops of fall color from the boutonniere with dried leaves, bunny tails, and mini silver daisies.
A sienna backdrop added rich color for Anna Kay Photography to capture on both film and digital. Clementine Floral Works used the canvas to create a whimsical dried flower installation and fall leaf ceremony installation! The cloud-like flower arrangement was bursting with autumn oranges and reds to create a stunning focal point!
Gradations of the signature color scheme in sienna and blush created a layered backdrop for the ceremony photos, while the rich neutral palette allowed our classic black and white bridal couple to stand out!
The white brick walls and airy loft venue provided the perfect backdrop for the yellow and smoky quartz reception colors! Westcott Weddings pulled in one of the season’s trending wedding colors, marigold yellow, with ochre tablecloths from La Tavola Fine Linen Rental and cafe style chairs in dark wood from 10th Collection.
Table Manners set the scene with matte black ceramic plates and smoky quartz glasses on the ochre yellow tablecloth. Organic cotton napkins in taupe added texture and neutral color to the rich tablescape.
Ready to toast! This sparkling apple, fig, and blackberry cocktail is the best way to raise a glass with fall flavors!
The cake by Feathers and Frosting made for an incredible finishing touch! The cake combined elongated round tiers with textured buttercream in sienna and blush with textured black sugar wraps. A cascading rose and dried flower motif added the perfect sunset colors to wrap it all up!
