The Ultimate Rustic Glam Elopement from Alexandra Wallace Photography

Oh darlings, I have what has to be the most incredible rustic glam wedding shoot from Alexandra Wallace Photography to share today, and it’s a given that you’re going to get swept off your feet. We start with the foothills of the Figueroa Mountain in Santa Barbara – in May, the hills of Southern California turn the tawny gold of of vintage velvet, and this gorgeous couple took full advantage of the stunning backdrop. Ashley and Ramone enjoyed the gilded light of the spring sun, not to mention some of the most stunning wedding day looks to grace this blog since it started.

Ramone’s navy sports coat and cobalt tone-on-tone shirt with cream pants created the perfect Californian chic groom’s look, but let’s be serious, Ashley steals the show. Her glittering gold Badgley Mischka gown is simply radiant in the last rays of the sun. She struck the perfect balance between the sparkling drama of the gown and the effortlessly natural setting with simple, smoky makeup by Alex Evans Makeup Artist and a sleek fishtail braid by Ana Garcia Cheadle.

That dress alone should be reason enough to fall in love with this gorgeous shoot, but the true star is Field to Table Catering & Events. Not only did they create some pretty epic jewel toned dishes for the shoot – how radiant are those tomato soup shooters?! – they also put together the rustic gilded table underneath the pine trees. Hammered gold details, abundant greenery, and white statice flowers on weathered wood created a stunning rustic chic reception look!
