Enjoy an early slice of summer with this charming boho wedding shoot from Emily Jane Photography and Kill’s Custom Creations! The dreamy light and soft berry and blush tones make for an utterly romantic editorial that will have you dreaming of a summer meadow.
The lovely Loretta, herself a bride-to-be, got the chance to get dolled up as a bohemian chic bride in a sweet, backless gown. The flowing halter dress was the perfect nod to the sweetly relaxed style of the shoot – a simple silver cuff bracelet and a floral crown of delicate green vines finished off her dreamy summer look. Jessica of Kill’s styled the shoot and created the lush and romantic florals.
For a Sweetheart Table of polished wood, she chose a filmy white runner and antique gold details. Fresh raspberries added a hint of jewel toned color to the soft color palette, accented with overflowing floral arrangements in delicate pink and blush. Summer roses, ruffled peonies, and bright tulips added lovely texture to the tone on tone arrangements and delicate bud vases.
The meadow setting and stunning boho bride would be stunning enough, but the pièce de résistance has to be the ombre naked cake! Delicately tinted layers of cake in the soft hues of the shoot were separated by fluffy icing and topped with fresh flowers and raspberries. After cutting the cake, the bride and groom relaxed in a sweet vintage lounge, with picnic blankets and throw pillows strewn under an antique lantern!
