Sophisticated Countryside Wedding in Sparkling Blush

There’s no need to sacrifice elegance when you pick a rustic setting for your big day, as today’s sophisticated countryside wedding can attest! The barn and maple groves of Shady Lane Farm set the scene for Jennifer and Chris’s romantic wedding day, planned by Erica Weddings and gorgeously captured by Amanda Watson Photography! Jennifer had an enormous hand in making her vision a reality, from selecting each piece of vintage furniture used in the reception, and handcrafting the lush country florals! The refurbished barn set the tone for an elegant country affair, with the dark wood beautifully set off by sparkling blush linens, delicate drapery, and pink and gray flowers blooming in vintage milk glass.

Despite the unabashed elegance of their day, Jennifer and Chris tied the knot in a beautifully simple wedding ceremony that put the two of them front and center. A billowing length of linen draped over the boughs of one of the farm’s maple trees created a naturally beautiful altar for their vows. Guests sat in rustic fruitwood chairs adorned with banners of vintage handkerchiefs perfectly positioned for happy tears! Things took a turn for the luxe at their reception, with a blush sequin Sweetheart Table and pink and gold tassels decorating the bar. The true showstopper here, aside from the gorgeous view of the autumn hills, was the opulent cake display byAll Things Cake, set before a custom made backdrop celebrating their relationship with their favorite quotes.
