Wine country is calling with the serene citrus colors and effortless California style of this Sonoma wedding shoot at Annadel Estate Winery! Fine art photographers The Ganeys and Bay Area wedding planner Natalie Choi Events teamed up to celebrate the beauty of Napa Valley with this colorful shoot that showcases the winery’s natural beauty in a color palette that brings the sunshine all year round!
This color palette is the perfect way to blend serene citrus colors with romantic neutrals and give them both a creative pop! Watercolor brush strokes and handmade paper added luxe detailing to the invitations by Kelsey Malie Calligraphy, with a warm taupe palette that tied in to the earthy elegance of the wine country setting.
And then there was color! Bright yellow details gave the decor a lively pop thanks to these suede Jimmy Choo heels for the adventurous bride!
In keeping with the elegant and organic theme, Gather Design Company blended soft floral details with lots of greenery, including the seedpod boutonnieres that added a chic botanical element to the personal flowers.
A stunning gown from Kinsley James Couture Bridal provided the perfect mix of romance and charm for our wine country bride! The delicately detailed bodice featured an illusion neckline with cut out sides and a flowing tulle skirt that could not have been a more perfect fit for the wine country retreat venue at Annadel Estate Winery!
Gather Design Company opted for romance with the bride’s bouquet of garden roses, ranunculus, sweetpea, lisianthus, and silene. The soft citrus colors blended peach, yellow, and soft oranges to create a soft sunset palette that bloomed against the spring greens blooming all around the winery.
How gorgeous is this groom! You can’t go wrong with a classic suit, and thanks to The Black Tux, this gentleman looked photo ready.
The ceremony in the stone ruins at Annadel Estate Winery focused on the natural beauty of the space, using the vine-covered walls and blooming trees as a jumping off point for the simple design. Gather Design Company clustered bud vases with airy grasses and budding branches in a semi-circle to outline the ceremony area, creating a backdrop that looked as though it had grown there organically! The simple wedding decor allowed the venue to shine and kept the focus on the beautiful couple!
The inspiration behind the color palette focused on coastal colors, with soft sea blue accents paired with sunny yellows. Pale blue tablecloths from La Tavola Fine Linen created a watercolor canvas for the reception table set in an old wine cellar, with wishbone chairs from The Chiavari Guys adding to the open and minimal design with a touch of Scandinavian design aesthetic.
Vellum menus were accented by a custom wedding monogram and placed at each setting to elevate the earthenware china and gold flatware from Chairs and Cups. The citrus colored flowers created a Creamsicle effect in white, yellow, and peach!
The Ganeys took our lovely couple for a spin under the oak trees and brushing willows that make Sonoma’s wine country so enchanting! This beautiful couple embraced laid-back California style while still looking black tie gala ready in their wedding day attire.
Hair and makeup artist Urban Beauty Loft embraced the bride’s natural beauty with luminous makeup, and showcased the perfect short bridal hairstyle with natural waves and a sparkling hairclip from Lindsay Marie Design!
