Rustic Mountain Wedding with Sunny Yellow Details

Be prepared to be charmed by this lovely couple who were married on top of a mountain. Melissa and Kasey met while traveling, so where better to celebrate their marriage than in one of the most naturally breathtaking places in the United States? A private estate overlooking Lake Tahoe was the natural choice for this San Francisco based pair, who set about planning a wedding that reflected their love for each other and for adventure. Charlotte Allegra Photography was on hand to capture their beautiful day and the gorgeous place that they chose to plant their feet after seeing the world together.

Table names detailed places they’ve traveled together, fashion designer Melissa put a personal touch on the decor and crafted the boutonnieres herself, and Thran’s Flowers put together sweet, rustic centerpieces perfectly suited to the Alpine overlook. My favorite of their many personal touches is Kasey’s ring, which was made with gold the couple panned together from the Yuba River. Their cheerful yellow and gray color scheme reflected the sunshine-filled beauty of the day and the people they gathered together from around the world to watch them say ‘I Do’.
