Rustic Lakeside Brunch Wedding Captured on Film

A lakeside brunch wedding has to be the definition of relaxed and romantic all in one! Emily Katharine beautifully captured Sara and Jonathan’s breezy wedding day at Lakeside Ranch. A morning wedding perfectly suited the couple’s low-key personalities, while still allowing them to celebrate in serious style!

Their wedding day on the lakeshore in Inverness, FL, started off with thick gray fog obscuring the oak trees and draping Spanish moss, but the morning sun burned it off in time for their eleven AM ceremony. Ever After Vintage Weddings styled their unique rustic ceremony, with vintage pews lining an aisle decorated with tree stumps and colored lanterns. A macrame curtain hanging from the majestic oak trees on the ranch grounds served as the perfect ceremony backdrop to their heartfelt vows. Andrea Layne Floral Design created Sara’s bold red and blush bouquet with a personal twist. The organic, hand-tied flowers were wrapped with flowing ribbons, including ones from her grandmother’s dress.

The open air pavilion at Lakeside Ranch hosted their midday reception, with rustic farm tables set under archways lined with billowing curtains. Vintage bottles filled with colorful summer flowers stood out like gems against the neutral ruffled runners and dark wood. Guests found their ‘party animal’ with hand painted gold escort cards that guided them to their table. The reception offered brunch cocktails, from mimosas to a make-your-own Bloody Mary bar. Since the newlyweds made their getaway during daylight, guests sent the pair and their dog, Buddy, to their honeymoon with a bubble send off!
