Diving into these photos from Shannon Ford Photography and Whitewood Events feels as relaxing as stepping into late summer sunshine. The rustic country retreat atmosphere of Julep Farms in the North Georgia mountains gave them the inspiration for this ‘sweet tea southern meets modern’ wedding inspiration! The bold palette of saffron yellow and pale gray with pops of navy blue mimics the splashes of colors designer and restauranteur Lauren Weaver used to create the welcoming atmosphere of the farm resort.
The Aerialist Press‘s artistry was on full display with this beautiful stationery suite – navy blue envelopes added drama to the exquisitely simple design inside, using letterpress dogwood details for a minimalist yet elegant design.
We’re embracing sunshine yellow all the way with this shoot, starting with the bride’s fun and colorful suede shoes!
The inspiration the venue provided is on full display, showcasing the design of the farm’s cottages – the clean lines and minimalist color palette with pops of bold yellow carried into this stunning bridal inspiration! The chic BHLDN wedding dress felt light and airy in the Southern summer, while the pattern of floral lace cascading into the full skirt added a touch of romance.
Sweet Stems Flower Bar embraced the modern rustic aesthetic with this stunning yellow bouquet – the palette of yellow, gold, cream, and honey received an infusion of modern style thanks to olive branches, pincushion protea, dried seedpods, and Queen Anne’s lace.
With Julep Farms nestled into the Blue Ridge Mountains, stunning vistas weren’t hard to come by! These gorgeous Southern bridal portraits captured the heavenly mountain setting.
Modern charm was the inspiration for this welcoming feast table. The paisley tablecloth combined the detailed, swirling pattern with a subtle neutral palette to create the perfect backdrop for this updated farmhouse tablescape.
Gray taper candles in antique brass holders and whiskey brown bud vases added to the fresh design of the reception decor. Laser etched wood menus added rustic texture to the ceramic chargers and linen napkins.
Sweet Stems Flower Bar had fun with frosting creating this hand painted floral wedding cake in shades of orange, yellow, and apricot. The floral motif added a beautifully artistic element bursting with sunny summer color.
What is a farm wedding without a few furry friends? Our lovely bride made some new acquaintances from around Julep Farms, made all the more magical by the golden hour light spilling over the mountains!
