I can think of no better way to start the week than this gorgeous vintage botanical wedding shoot from A Day to Remember Events and Danaea Li Photography! It combines my absolute favorite things – gorgeous event design, a good drink, and wonderful friends to raise a glass with!
A romantic woodsy theme was chosen to complement the natural beauty of the grounds of Mt. Lehman Winery, with strands of bistro lighting warming up the raw brick walls of the wine cellar. Lush botanical florals by Floralista brought the beauty of the surrounding woodlands indoors, from the overflowing ombre bouquet carried by the bride to the lush floral table runner with jewel-bright leaves accented with cream and blush dahlias, peonies, and garden roses. No corner was overlooked, from the garland adorning a vintage velvet settee to the petite clusters of fern and eucalyptus on the back of each chair. There was wine in abundance, of course, befitting a wedding hosted at a winery, but one of the most striking details – and my personal favorite – has to be the whiskey bar! A 1960’s sewing machine was transformed into an elegant bar cart thanks to handcrafted doilies, vintage crystal decanters, and monogrammed napkins.
The bridal party benefited from the same keen eye as the reception space, with the groom and groomsmen in gray and slate blue suits, and bridesmaids in chic black cocktail dresses with statement necklaces. The bride wore a flowing gown with a sweeping skirt of almond chiffon and delicate sleeves of beaded French lace from Canadian designer Truvelle, complemented with a softly romantic hairdo with a braided crown and sideswept curls.

What an inspired editorial. I love the wooden invitations, and Truvelle is a mountainside fav, to be sure. Stunning!
The floral designs in this shoot are simply exquisite. I love how the ranunculus bout mimics the colors of the pears in the first photo.
