What does it take to design the perfect rustic urban wedding? This incredible Brooklyn affair by Kelly Williams, Photographer has it all – bistro lights and garlands of greenery, a rustic winery setting, planter boxes of beautiful wildflowers – all set in the heart of Brooklyn! Rich and Danielle’s beautiful wedding reflected their down-home style and love of family, with an intimate ceremony and reception at Brooklyn Winery. They set the tone with their ceremony in the winery’s atrium – reclaimed wood walls hold a vertical garden of planter boxes, while the faceted skylight casts sunlight down into the dark room. More planter boxes filled with blooming wildflowers and natural grasses created a short aisle. The abundant floral arrangements and garlands were designed by Greenery NYC, who more than lived up to their name!
Guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the wine bar while the atrium was reset for dinner – long farm tables carried their homespun theme, decorated with burlap and lace runners, centerpieces of lush wildflowers and berries, and kraft paper escort cards hand calligraphed with each guests’ name. The beautiful room took on the feel of a family dinner, with twinkling bistro lights overhead. Rich and Danielle wanted to keep the reception casual and cozy, and opted to serve their favorite comfort foods, including fried chicken and macaroni and cheese! Their extravagant dessert bar featured pies and donuts from local Brooklyn bakeries, Butter & Scotch, Brooklyn and Dough Brooklyn, rather than a traditional cake. Things went straight into dancing after dinner – DJ Vida kept the music going all night, while guests danced underneath the strands of lights!

This is really quite beautiful – it seems so cozy and intimate and the rustic urban features are lovely. Totally the type of wedding I would love to attend- especially in light of all the great food!
Everything about this wedding is incredible. I agree with Lauren, I would love to see more celebrations that pair rustic and urban together!
Love her bouquet and the gorgeous winery!
Whoa! This is total rustic urban win! Absolutely perfect table decor!
Those doughnuts, those beer party favors, the tablescapes… there’s nothing I don’t love about this wedding.
This is amazing – I love that Brooklyn always has spaces that are such a great combination of the best of city life and rustic influence. What a great place!
The rustic-urban pairing needs to happen more often. This wedding is lovely, and it looks like it was a whole lot of fun. Major win on the favors too!
