When all is said and done, a wedding is about two people, two lives, coming together as one. We can often get caught up in the intricacies and details of a wedding day, but at the most elemental, it is about the joy of two people joining their lives together. That’s why I was captivated by the simple beauty of these stunning bridal portraits sent to me by Brandon Burk. Megan and Mike were wed in a Mormon ceremony, which prohibits photographs inside the temple. They celebrated with a portrait session at the grounds surrounding the Tabernacle in Salt Lake City and in the woods at Millcreek Inn. Their session could not have been more simple – the lovely couple in their wedding day finery, a beautiful woodsy bouquet to suit the season and their surroundings, and each other.
